Term 3 Week 8

I have been so busy working on maths and reading these few weeks so I didn't really have to time to write a blog post, but its alright. I have time now, and I will try my best to write a interesting post for you. So we started learning Geometry at about week 5. At first I was the little kid that knew nothing, but now I am very confident and really enjoy geometry. We have been learning about shapes, angles, triangles, polygons, quadrilaterals, prisms, so much that I would have to be here talking all day. I learned something new everyday like a full triangle would equal 160°° and the next day I would learn how to draw triangles using compasses.

I am up-to-date with work, finished all my maths learning reflections and have done 922 words for my reading. Our reading work is to read a short story and talk about the characters/characterizations - Talk about the antagonist and protagonist in the story. What were the characters like at the start of the story, and how did they change? Were they flat etc characters?
Conflict - What type of conflict is evident in the story? How is the conflict resolved? Was it effective? What do you think is the most important conflict in this story? Why?
Language Features - What language features can you identify in the story? Has the author used similes, metaphors, alliteration etc. Give examples and explain how they added to the story.
Theme - What do you think the theme of the story is? What message is it trying to give you? You need evidence from the story to support your opinion. Was the author successful in getting the message across to the reader? How? Why? Explain.
