Week 5 already! I finally got my badge at Monday assembly, and I was feeling great and proud of myself. For maths we revised maths with Mrs Crowe. For example: What are the Lowest Common Multiple of 3, 4 and 5? First, we write the numbers out like this,
3: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45, 48, 51, 54, 57, 60, 63
4: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68
5: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85
Now, look at this table, and find the three numbers that are the same digits. As you can see here, we can clearly see that there are three 60's, so the answer is 60. Another thing we revised in maths is factors. Here is an example: Find the first factors of 90. The rule is simple, factor x factor = product.
So the first factor of 90 is going to be (1, 90) <== (Basically means 1 x 90 = 90). Then, the list just goes on! (1, 90)(2, 45)(3, 30)(5, 18)(6, 15)(9, 10).
Next monday, I will have a interview with the principle about head-student. Good luck to me!
Yes good luck to you! Just a reminder - he is the principal not principle!!
