Hello everyone! This week has been really awesome. Guess what? I am very excited to say that I have received my Silver Badge! The guys insanely happy. I can't wait till Monday assembly when I receive it. Well done to all the year sevens who are very close to receiving a bronze badge, and I know its really hard but my jolly they earn signatures so fast this year .-. Back to the topic, it seems this weeks weather is quite weird I should say. One minute its sunny, you blink the rain pours in with lightning. This was not exaggerated at all... I mean maybe a little. Monday was really typical, and we had nearly the same plan as last Monday. Some of the people at our school attended the Young leaders day which was quite nice for them. I was the only head student present at the assembly, but it worked out fine without the others. I got everything sorted just like every week so it felt quite normal. Also i'm quite close to finishing my reading and writing which I am quite happy about.
On Wednesday we had jump jam on, and learnt a new song called freaks. I knew that song from last year when we had the production. It really does bring back the memories with the year eights last year. I do think we really need more practice on that song because it consists of many new movements. After jump jam finished, the rain started pouring really hard. Like legit very hard on the roof of the A.L.C. There was also some lightning and thunder present and the scene. Before heading back to class, we looked outside and murmured to each other "Ready to sprint?", and then sprinted as fast as we could. There was not much use, and all the rain just hits you in the face. Within the matter of like 6 seconds, we were all soaked. This proves my theory that the faster you run doesn't mean you get soaked less.
On Friday I didn't go to school as I was sick. I did really look forward to Japanese, but it was tough luck. Looking on Arden's blog I could identify what they were learning as I already learnt those years ago. I do really look forward to Japanese next week though, and what we are going to learn.
So guys, I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog post. I tried to make it a bit more funny so you would enjoy it more, but please do leave a comment to give me more room for improvement.
Android App Development:
So what I've done at the moment is finished the Login and Register forms. It was quite hard to sync database php and mysql with RegisterRequest and LoginRequest altogether, The user_id wasn't syncing and always spits out an error with overlapping 1 as int. But I figured the problem out and placed a permission for auto_increment(means it will go from 1 -> 2 -> 3 and so on. The next part I am going to do is the teachers control panel. I have no idea what I can add so teachers, please tell me what you want and I will see what I can do ;)
Science Fair Project:
I've finally decided my project for this years science fair. Its called Smart Home. Basically, it lives up to its name. Its an electronic thing that will monitor your house while you are away, or at home. Some functions may include, flood warning, temperature reading, home server and home automation. I hope its going to come out well!
